The area of the industrial/business park is located in the southwestern part of the parish. This portion of the parish is already an industrial area with Entergy’s River Bend Power Plant and Tembec Paper Mill.

The site is located between the existing US Hwy 61 and the Mississippi River south of St. Francisville. It will lie between the Entergy’s River Bend Power Plant on the north and LA Hwy 964 on the south. The site will eventually be bound on the north by the proposed extension of LA Hwy 10 with a new Mississippi River bridge, and LA Hwy 964 and new Hwy 10.

The industrial/business park is helping to improve the parish’s economic environment. Land use(s) for this area are commercial and industrial, both light and heavy in each case. Each quadrant will contain varying size development “pods” which would be considered the developable area determined.
